Frequently Asked Questions
- 01Pura Vida EcoVillage is a planned 100-hectare, low-density development in Costa Rica’s Southern Caribbean. It brings together 48 residences, regenerative food systems, living water, nature-responsive architecture and shared spaces as one interconnected environment. The vision extends beyond sustainable housing: it is an exploration of how infrastructure itself can support human well-being, ecological health and meaningful community.
- 02It means well-being is considered before construction begins—not added later as an amenity. Water movement, natural airflow, light, sound, privacy, food production, walking paths and community spaces are designed together. For residents, this could mean greater connection to nature, calmer movement, locally grown food and homes designed for tropical comfort. For investors, it positions the project within the rapidly expanding wellness-real-estate market.
- 03Costa Rica is globally associated with nature, longevity, restoration and the pura vida way of life. That reputation is increasingly supported by economic momentum: Costa Rica’s wellness economy reached approximately $8.72 billion in 2024—nearly 59% larger than in 2019. At the same time, wellness real estate has become one of the world’s fastest-growing wellness sectors. Pura Vida EcoVillage is being developed where global demand and authentic local identity naturally meet.
- 04The project is intentionally limited to 48 residences across 100 hectares. Rather than maximizing the number of buildings, the plan prioritizes land, water, food production, biodiversity, privacy and shared experience. Homes are one part of a larger living system—not the entire product. This creates a fundamentally different proposition: ownership or residency within an environment designed around long-term quality of life.
- 05Our hybrid approach combines large-format 3D printing with bamboo, locally available earth, sand, lime, hemp and conventional methods where appropriate. Digital fabrication can reduce material waste, manual variation, rework and dependence on imported materials. Openings, service pathways and structural cavities can also be incorporated during production. Our method is a more repeatable and predictable construction process—not merely faster-looking technology.
- 06Our technology has already been used in (a) certified European residences, (b) regulated International Airport construction and (c) international luxury-retail projects. The airport service building required seven printing days and nineteen days for total delivery. Proven technology strengthens the foundation; it does not replace responsible local approval.
- 07The public website intentionally presents the opportunity at a high level. Investment structure, participation levels, use of funds, project milestones, risk factors and potential return scenarios are discussed privately with qualified prospects. No return is guaranteed, and the appropriate structure may depend on timing, investment size and strategic value. Early conversations are designed to establish alignment before confidential financial and diligence materials are shared.
- 08Pura Vida EcoVillage is being created for people who value nature, well-being, thoughtful design and a more connected way of living. It is not intended to be a conventional housing subdivision or an anonymous resort. Prospective residents will be invited to learn about the vision, receive project updates and eventually participate in interviews or on-site experiences to explore whether the community—and the community’s values—are the right fit.
- 09The project is in development. The EcoVillage is being developed as a phased, land-rooted project rather than as a single construction event. Current milestones, development sequencing, professional partners and due-diligence materials will be shared at the appropriate stage with qualified investors. Future residents can join the interest list for updates and future experiences. The best next step is to choose the pathway that fits your interest: Request Investor Information or Explore Residency.
