WELLNESS INFRASTRUCTURE

The Future Will Be Built Around Wellbeing

Early participation in a 100-hectare Wellness Infrastructure vision in Costa Rica’s Southern Caribbean

We Are Entering the Age of Wellness Infrastructure

For generations, development has focused on constructing buildings. The next era will focus on creating places that help people live better.

Wellness Infrastructure is the thoughtful design of the systems that shape everyday life: the land beneath us, the air we breathe, the water we use, the food we grow, the homes we inhabit, the ways we move, and the communities we build.

Pura Vida EcoVillage is being created around this larger understanding of wellbeing.

Across 100 hectares of rolling pastureland in Costa Rica’s Southern Caribbean, we are planning a limited residential community where nature, regenerative systems, advanced construction technology, and human wellbeing work together from the beginning—not as features added later.

A Market at a Defining Turning Point

Wellness is no longer a niche interest. It is becoming one of the world’s most influential economic forces.

The global wellness economy reached approximately $6.8 trillion in 2024 and is projected to approach $9.8 trillion by 2029. Wellness real estate—places intentionally designed to support healthier living—is its fastest-growing sector.

The wellness real estate market reached $584 billion in 2024 and is forecast to reach $1.1 trillion by 2029. The Latin America–Caribbean region recorded approximately 24% annual growth from 2019 through 2024, making it the fastest-growing regional wellness real estate market during that period.

This is more than a passing trend.
It reflects a lasting shift in what people value:

  • Healthier homes and surroundings

  • Greater connection to nature

  • Cleaner air, water, and food systems

  • Resilient and responsible infrastructure

  • More meaningful community

  • Places that support how people want to live
    —not simply where they sleep

We believe the projects that understand this shift early will help shape the next generation of real estate.

We Are Building More Than Residences

Pura Vida EcoVillage is not being designed as a conventional housing development with wellness amenities added around it.

Wellbeing influences the entire plan.

It informs how land, roads, water, energy, food production, homes, shared spaces, movement, rest, privacy, and community are considered together.

The current vision includes:

  • 100 hectares in Costa Rica’s Southern Caribbean

  • 48 planned residences, preserving openness and connection to the land

  • Regenerative agriculture and food-growing systems

  • Water, energy, and resource strategies designed for greater resilience

  • Natural environments for movement, restoration, learning, and connection

  • A phased development model beginning with infrastructure planning

  • 3D-hybrid construction adapted to tropical living

This is what we mean by Wellbeing by Design.

Technology That Helps
Make the Vision Possible

Our advantage is not technology alone.
It is how technology is being applied.

Pura Vida EcoVillage is exploring a

3D-hybrid construction approach that combines advanced printed wall systems with complementary materials such as bamboo, hemp, clay, soil, sand, timber, glass, and locally appropriate finishes.

Large-format construction printer forming layered earth-based walls

This approach can offer meaningful advantages
over conventional construction:

  • Faster and more predictable structural production

  • Less material waste

  • Reduced dependence on large construction crews

  • Greater consistency and design precision

  • Improved ability to create curved, organic, climate-responsive forms

  • More efficient use of appropriate local and regional materials

  • Better control over scheduling and construction costs

  • The flexibility to combine innovation with skilled local craftsmanship

The result is not simply a different way to build. It is a platform for creating healthier, more beautiful, and more resource-conscious environments at a meaningful scale.

From Construction Technology
to Wellness Infrastructure

CLIMATE-RESPONSIVE HOMES

Forms shaped around shade, airflow and tropical comfort

LAND-LED PLANNING

Roads, buildings and resources designed around the landscape

HUMAN WELLBEING

Infrastructure that supports nourishment, movement, rest and connection

3D construction is often presented as a faster method for producing walls. We see a much larger possibility.

Used thoughtfully, it allows buildings and shared spaces to respond more naturally to the land, airflow, sunlight, shade, privacy, movement, and human comfort.

Combined with regenerative land planning and resilient resource systems, this technology can help us create an environment where:

  • Homes work with the tropical climate

  • Roads and structures respect the landscape

  • Water is treated as a living resource

  • Nature remains part of everyday life

  • Agriculture supports nourishment and community

  • Shared spaces encourage connection without sacrificing privacy

  • Infrastructure strengthens both wellbeing and long-term value

Technology is the tool.
Wellness Infrastructure is the purpose.

Why Early Participation Matters

Infrastructure
Planning

Transformative projects are shaped long before the final homes are completed.

The earliest phase establishes the infrastructure, development priorities, strategic relationships, and systems upon which everything else depends. Early participants enter while the project is still being shaped—when their involvement can have the greatest influence and when the value created through planning and execution has not yet been fully realized.

Early participation may create access to opportunities and incentives that will not remain available at later stages. Specific investment structures, financial terms, safeguards, and potential benefits are discussed privately with qualified participants and are subject to formal documentation.

Our approach emphasizes:

  • Phased and milestone-driven development

  • Disciplined use of capital

  • Transparent communication

  • Practical construction innovation

  • Responsible land stewardship

  • Long-term value creation rather than short-term speculation

Positioned Where Three Powerful Movements Meet

01
WELLNESS REAL ESTATE

Growing demand for places that actively support healthier and more connected lives.

02

REGENERATIVE DEVELOPMENT

A commitment to improving the relationship between people, land, water, food, and natural systems.

03

ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION

Technology designed to reduce waste, improve predictability, and expand what is possible in architecture.

The Opportunity Is to
Help Build What Comes Next

We are not simply preparing for the growth of the wellness market.  We are creating the physical systems through which wellness can become part of everyday life.

Pura Vida EcoVillage offers an opportunity to participate near the beginning of a 100-hectare vision—one designed to unite human wellbeing, resilient infrastructure, regenerative land use, and next-generation construction in Costa Rica.

The future of real estate will not be measured only by how much we build. It will be measured by how well people live within what we create.
